Emergency Care

Yes, we provide emergency dental care for urgent situations like severe tooth pain, broken teeth, or dental trauma. Call our main number (802) 229-0033 and press 1 for our emergency line. We have after-hours coverage for true emergencies.

Dental emergencies include severe tooth pain, knocked-out teeth, broken or cracked teeth, lost fillings or crowns, abscesses, and injuries to the mouth or jaw. If you're experiencing severe pain or trauma, don't wait - call us immediately.

Handle the tooth by the crown (not the root), rinse gently with water if dirty, and try to place it back in the socket. If that's not possible, keep it moist in milk or saliva. Call us immediately - time is critical for saving the tooth. The sooner you receive treatment, the better the chances of successful reimplantation.

For temporary relief, you can take over-the-counter pain medication as directed, apply a cold compress to the outside of your cheek, and rinse with warm salt water. Avoid placing aspirin directly on the gum or tooth. These are temporary measures - please call us for proper treatment.
